A gunman has killed at least 4 people in California in a shooting spree.
The rampage began just before midday yesterday when emergency calls reported shots fired and a house on fire in Santa Monica.
Two bodies were discovered by officers at the scene. Reports suggest the bodies are thatof the gunman's father and brother.

It's believed the gunman then made his way to a college campus where further shots were fired.
