Is the any annual occasion as photogenic as Halloween? With the inevitable onslaught of scares, costumes and pranks, it's no surprise that one October night continues to inspire countless video and filmmakers.
YouTube and other video sharing sites have really inspired people to make the most out of the opportunities afforded by October 31st. From extravagant costumes to ingenious pranks, the internet is home to some hilarious and creepy Halloween videos. We've collected a couple of our favourites below.
Jimmy Kimmel's Halloween Challenge earned its tens of millions of views back in 2011. Parents telling kids their trick-or-treat haul has been eaten while they were sleeping is equal parts cruel and hilarious. The last two youngsters particularly were instantly instated into the internet hall of fame:
