A 5-year-old British girl and her 66-year-old grandfather have drowned in Portugal after being dragged off the beach by waves.
Lara Lewis and Brian O’Dwyer got into trouble in the resort of Nazare to the north of the capital city of Lisbon.
The girl’s parents were on the beach in the resort but were unable to help.

They were pulled out of the sea by fishermen.
