6 people have been taken to hospital following a serious car crash in Dublin early this morning.

The 2-car collision happened on the Cloverhill Road at around 5:10am.

A man in his 30s was driving one of the cars whist a woman and 4 men aged in their 20s and 30s were in the other car.

Three were taken to St. James’ Hospital and three others to Tallaght Hospital.

The road between the junction of Cloverhill and the Cherry Orchard roundabout and Cloverhill and the Coldcut Road is closed for a forensic examination.
