More than 600 shops have been destroyed after a fire at market in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

No one was injured, but the flames destroyed the majority of goods on sale and forced traders and shoppers to flee.

Thousands of dollars had to be quickly moved to police vans as the fire approached the city's main money exchange.
