The Taoiseach says gardai are conducting an inch by inch examination of the former home of bankrupt developer Tom McFeely in Dublin. €60,000 was found in a bathroom in the house on Ailesbury Road in Ballsbridge by officers yesterday.
It follows the discovery last week of €140,000 by a plumber who was carrying out work on the property.
Gardaí found the cash in plastic bags in the bathroom of the mansion. The money was made up of €50 notes wrapped in elastic bands.
The search was ordered by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) following the discovery of the €140,000 on Friday.

Gardaí say it is not yet clear who the money belongs to and have ordered finger print tests to be carried out on the cash.
NAMA seized McFeely's property after he was declared bankrupt and put it on sale for €3 million. It was bought by the wife of former Irish Editor of The Sunday Times Rory Godson.
At a bankruptcy hearing less than a year ago, Mr. McFeeley said he owed €200 million but had less than €1,200 in the bank.
The man behind the doomed Priory Hall is yet to be questioned about the hauls, but even if he is the rightful owner the money will be used to dispose of some of his debt.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny says the find is further evidence of the extravagances seen during the Celtic Tiger years.
