A powerful earthquake has hit Russia near its borders with China and North Korea. The epicentre of the 6.2 magnitude quake was south-west of Vladivostock.
The US Geological Survey (USGS) says it registered at a depth of 350 miles.
The epicentre of the quake was 9 kilometres from the Russian village of Zarubino and about 60 kilometres north-east of the North Korean city of Aodzhiri.

It is estimated the tremor hit some 608 kilometres from the capital Pyongyang.
There are no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
