A new survey shows 70% of Irish workers suffer sleepless nights going back to work after holidays.

Women are more likely to be affected than men.

The research, from office suppliers Viking, also shows workers admit having difficulty switching off from work while they’re away – just 44% say they can forget about it completely.

While the majority of employees say their boss would never disturb them on holidays, 4 in 10 claim they do sometimes get a work call.

The good news for anyone with post-holiday blues is that it usually only takes us a day to get back to normality.
