77% of Irish employers expect a spike in the number of ‘sickies’ being pulled during the Olympics.

That is according to a new survey of over 1,000 bosses here.

It was conducted by Peninsula Ireland.

69% of those polled say they will let workers follow the coverage whilst at work.

And 72% of Irish employers have had requests from staff wishing to book holidays from work so they can follow the games from the comfort of their own homes.
