Eight men have been arrested in the North, by police investigating two stabbings.
The men, aged between 17 and 30, have been detained on suspicion of a number of offences including attempted murder, aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm with intent.
Two men in their twenties were stabbed in separate incidents in Cookstown, Co Tyrone in the early hours of this morning.

Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
