89 people have been arrested as part of a major investigation targeting serious criminal activity around the country.
More than 400 searches were carried out since yesterday morning under 'Operation Wireless' for stolen property, drugs and firearms.
Over 20 of the 89 people were arrested on foot of bench warrants - while five were detained under European Arrest Warrants.
They include a 34-year-old man in Tallaght in Dublin who was found in possession of almost €400,000 of cocaine.
The suspected drug dealer was arrested at a house in Cushlawn Park and he is currently being held at Tallaght Garda Station.
A large amount of cash and drugs paraphernalia were also seized.
