With Leaving Cert students receiving their CEO offers in the post tomorrow – a new survey of existing college students reveals that their biggest worry is money.

40% of students said that getting the money together to pay for college was their biggest concern, followed by the stress of exams (26%) and not liking their course (22%).

A further 10% of those who took part in the MyHome.ie survey said they worried about not making friends.

However despite the concerns over finances, alcohol ranked as the highest item of expenditure after food.

One in five say they go drinking at least three days a week.
