‘Homeland’ actor Damian Lewis is urging US President Barack Obama to ban guns in America.

His call comes after 12 people were killed and 58 wounded at a massacre in a Colorado cinema last month.

Damian plays US Marine Sergeant turned potential terrorist Nicholas Brody in the hit TV series.

The British actor was recently asked what he would do if he had real political power to which he replied “I’d get rid of all guns”.
