The Sinn Fein leader says there are bigger issues arising from recent Garda controversies than the Justice Minister.

Gerry Adams intends to support the upcoming motion of no-confidence in Alan Shatter, but says a Garda Authority needs to be established to oversee the force.

Fianna Fail will table the motion on Wednesday, which will be defeated.
