A man has been arrested and is being questioned by Gardaí about the death of Adnan Asic. 

On October 22nd, 2022, Mr Asic was walking home in Blanchardstown, Dublin when he was violently assaulted. 

The 60-year-old, who was originally from Bosnia, later passed away from his injuries. 

A murder investigation is now underway and Gardaí would like to talk to anyone who was on Blanchardstown Road North, the Old Navan Road or Blanchardstown Shopping Centre between 12am and 3am on October 22nd, 2022. 

In particular, they would like to talk to someone who saw two men together at the junction of Blanchardstown Road North and the Old Navan Road in the early hours of October 22nd.
