A man who was arrested in connection with the fatal assault on Adnan Asic has been released without charge.
On October 22nd, 2022, Mr Asic was walking home in Blanchardstown, Dublin when he was violently assaulted.
The 60-year-old, who was originally from Bosnia, later passed away from his injuries.
Yesterday, a man in his 40s was arrested in the murder investigation associated with the fatal assault on Adnan Asic on October 22nd, 2022.
After being questioned by Gardaí, he has now been released without charge, with a file being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Murder investigation underway
A murder investigation is underway and Gardaí would like to talk to anyone who was on Blanchardstown Road North, the Old Navan Road or Blanchardstown Shopping Centre between 12am and 3am on October 22nd, 2022.
In particular, they would like to talk to someone who saw two men together at the junction of Blanchardstown Road North and the Old Navan Road in the early hours of October 22nd.
