Aer Lingus says the ashes of a man's parents have been found after they were lost while being flown to Ireland.
The family were travelling with the ashes when the luggage was misplaced.
The Irish Times reports Bob Gilmour brought his parents' ashes from Australia to scatter them in their respective home countries - Northern Ireland for his father, and England for his mother.
However, the bag containing the ashes was last seen before boarding a flight from Milan to Dublin on Saturday.
A funeral service for Mr Gilmour's father Sam has been arranged to take place in Co Antrim tomorrow - but earlier today the ashes had not yet been found.
In an earlier statement, Aer Lingus said it 'recognised the sensitivities' of the situation and were working to retrieve the baggage as quickly as they could.
They've now confirmed the ashes have been found and will now be transported back to Ireland and the Gilmour family.
The airline said in a statement: "Aer Lingus can confirm that the missing baggage has been located in Milan Malpensa Airport. Regrettably it was not loaded onto the Aer Lingus flight by the baggage handlers at Malpensa Airport.
"The baggage will now arrive overnight into Dublin Airport where it will be immediately transported to the family. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused."
