An Aer Lingus flight had to return to Dublin Airport this morning.
The DAA says flight EI 490 took off bound for Faro at 6:20am.
However, a decision was made to return due to a technical fault with the aircraft.
It follows reports of vibrations in one of the plane's engines.
Emergency services were on standby as the plane returned to the ground at 7.06am.
Passengers have now returned to the terminal building.
The carrier says emergency services were in attendance as a precaution.
The airline says in a statement: "All 181 passengers were disembarked safely and will be flown to Faro later this morning".
This is the third incident involving an Aer Lingus plane since last Tuesday.
