Aer Lingus has taken away the famous green from its planes as part of a re-branding strategy.
The carrier announced on Thursday that it was to reflect the airline's position as "a modern and contemporary Irish brand".
The logo font has changed and the dominant colour is now teal.
The body of the new-look aircraft will be white with a teal-coloured tail and engines.
The Irish airline has said a teal undercarriage means it will be "instantly recognisable" to those on the ground.
Reaction to the new colours appeared mixed online:
Very Bland for Aer Lingus would have preferred them to maintain their current Livery with perhaps a different touch don't know why airlines are going all plain and simple these days

No that is not how I know Aer Lingus. They have always been green. The six Nations Champions aircraft will never be the same again. Why. Why. Why.

Love the design on the tail but the rest of the fuesalage is bland, a missed opportunity to showcase the Aer Lingus brand and differentiate yourself from the competition.

While you might have been fixated on the Slack rebrand, there's another one that just dropped. Aer Lingus, Ireland's main airline, just announced a brand refresh. I had so much affinity for that distinctive green look, but I can't deny the redesign is fresh and appealing pic.twitter.com/XNRdkyssZu

The brand refresh is being rolled out across all brand platforms, with a new website design and app design.
The changeover is set to be completed by 2021.
A restyled shamrock logo sees it tilted "to symbolise dynamism and speed" - with heart-shaped leaves "reflecting the warmth and hospitality of the brand."

Passengers will see four shamrocks on the new livery: the first is within the new logo, the second sits on the tailfin, a third welcomes guests at the door, and a final one on the wingtip.
More than 50 shamrock designs were considered as part of the brand refresh process.
The airline has released a video of how its Airbus A330 was prepared for the big reveal at Dublin Airport.
