There's been a breakthrough in the LRC talks aimed at averting industrial action by cabin crew at Aer Lingus.
It's understood Aer Lingus has now said it will retain the cabin crew base at Shannon Airport.
And transatlantic flights will still be staffed by Aer Lingus crew, rather than being outsourced.

IMPACT will meet later to discuss whether to recommend acceptance of the proposals.
