Talks between the union and airline management on the workers pension scheme collapsed last night.

The union says industrial action is now inevitable.

It believes the action is likely to take place in early November.
The disputes relates to a €750 million deficit in the pension scheme by the group.
Spokesperson Dermot O’Loughlin says workers cannot accept the current offer on their pension.
He believes the airline has left workers with no alternative.
