Gardaí are investigating after a man and woman in their 70s were tied up as part of an aggravated burglary in Dublin this morning.
The attack took place between 10:30am and 11:15am in the Templeogue Road area of Terenure.
Investigators said three men entered the home and restrained the two occupants before escaping with a sum of cash.
The couple were not seriously injured.
The attackers made their getaway in a small white van.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with any information on the burglary to come forward.
They are particularly interested in talking to any motorists or cyclists who travelled along Templeogue Road between the hours of 9am and 11:30am and may have dash-com footage.
