The President of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors says morale in the force is on the floor.
Tim Galvin says the work of frontline officers is being undermined, made harder and more stressful by the current controversies.

He made the remarks in an address at the middle ranking Gardai's annual conference in Killarney in Co Kerry.
The Justice Minister Alan Shatter turned down an invite to address the meeting - due to other commitments.
