You know how it feels when a company isn't taking your complaint seriously. 

Well this customer basically has proof that they are just a [Customer Name] in a long line of [Customer Name's] 

In what looks to be the most insincere apology letter ever, the company sent the letter to a customer referring to their recent disappointing [Specific Event] with the airline but enclosed a [Specific Item] as a goodwill gesture. How nice.

Unfortunately someone in United Airlines customer service forgot to fill in the blanks and sent the letter out with the generic details still in place.

A photo of the letter was posted to Reddit last week by a user called 'Lyndy'. The uploader named the post "United Airlines writes the most sentimental apology letter."

"We all have a bad day at work once in awhile, we just thought this letter was sort of comical," said lyndy in the comments section of the uploaded post.

A spokesman for United Airlines said he could not authenticate the letter based on the image. He did say that the airline would apologise for the letter if the Reddit user revealed their identity.
