The Environment Minister Alan Kelly says the contribution of some bishops to the same-sex marriage debate has been unbalanced.
It follows remarks made by the Bishop of Elphin Kevin Doran yesterday, who called for a No vote in the May referendum.
He also said "the jury's out" on whether people are born gay.

Mr Kelly says everyone is entitled to express their opinion.
However, he says some views expressed in recent days have not been balanced.
