The group is calling on the Government to urgently change this link between alcohol consumption and sexual violence - by setting out stringent marketing measures that don't connect alcohol with having sex.
An RCNI study showed that in 10% of reported rapes, victims were incapacitated due to alcohol, and some victims believed they were taken less seriously because of this.
