Algerian troops on Sunday reportedly found the bodies of 25 hostages and captured five kidnappers at the - In Amenas- gas plant.

Survivors have been giving chilling accounts of brutal executions at the hands of the kidnappers.

Thirty-two kidnappers were killed, the army freed 685 Algerian workers and 107 foreigners.

Meanwhile, Britain's Prime Minister's warning the West faces a decades-long struggle against Islamist terrorism in north Africa.

Scottish man and father-of-two Alan Wright managed to hide from the terrorists and escape.
