This year's Late Late Toy Show is the most watched show this year to date, with nearly 1.4 million Irish people tuning in to see it.
RTÉ say the show also had a share of 71% - proving that it was a hit with young and old alike.
It was also hugely popular for international audiences, attracting more than 62,000 streams online.
Some 40% of them were from the UK, 16% from the US and 11% from Australia.
The most watched clips were the 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' opening number and Aimee Keogh meeting Ed Sheeran.
Presenter Ryan Tubridy wore four jumpers at different stages during the show, which were all hand knitted by the public.
The show also had a record number of children appearing from all over the country, with over 269 performers and toy testers taking part.
Adrian Lynch, channel controller for RTÉ One, said "A huge amount of work goes into a television production like this and I would like to thank Ryan and the whole Late Late Show team for making this the biggest TV event of the year so far".
Presenter Ryan Tubridy added: "I'm delighted with the viewership figures and would like to thank everyone who tuned in to watch the Late Late Toy Show. It’s a bonkers programme and I love presenting it. But it’s the children who make the show what it is and the whole experience more fun and special for everyone."
In contrast, the finale of Love/Hate drew an audience of slightly more than 1 million viewers, with a 56% share.
Sorry King Nidge, you've lost your crown.
