U.S officials say an American worker has been found dead at the natural gas complex in Algeria involved in a hostage standoff.

The Obama administration's still trying to secure the release of those who are being held by terrorists.

More than 20 foreigners are still being held captive inside the plant - while others are missing.

The country's forces stormed the desert complex on Thursday to free hundreds of captives taken by Islamist militants.
