Amni Burke has requested a new judge in her High Court case.
Ms Burke went before the High Court today in a case that centres on the decision to dismiss her complaint to the Workplace Relations Commission in relation to her dismissal from the law firm, Arthur Cox, in 2019.
Ms Burke, who represents her brothers Enoch and Simeon for their proceedings, represented herself before Ms Justice Marguerite Bolger.
She claims the decision to dismiss her claim was “unfair and unlawful.”
The case is yet to begin, as Ammi wants the judge to recuse herself from hearing it.
Ms Burke claims Ms Justice Bolger has “previously expressed views” in relation to the subject matter of these proceedings and she accused her of having a “particular close relationship” with the barrister representing her former employer.
The main hearing, when and if it eventually gets underway, is due to take two days.
