A Luas security guard is among two people stabbed during an altercation at a tram stop in South Dublin last night.
Shortly before 8pm, an altercation broke out between three men on the Luas platform at Miltown. A man in his 20s was stabbed in the neck back and leg.
Two Luas security guards intervened and one was also stabbed in the leg.
The Luas guard and the man who was stabbed suffered serious, but not life threatening injuries.
Gardaí arrested two men - one, in his 30s, was detained at Rathmines Garda station.
The second man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment.
