The converted crates are fitted with bathrooms and air conditioning, and are set up in a “village” of four, with two others providing a breakfast area, lounge, and sauna.
The creators say the idea was born out of wanting more out of a holiday, and also due to the fact that “not all of us enjoy sharing a communal shower."
These containers are currently located beside a dock in Antwerp, where they were left after being dumped off a container ship as it works out cheaper to leave them rather than transport them empty.
