The sentence hearing of two teenage boys convicted of Ana Kriegel’s murder has been adjourned until October.
Last month, they were found guilty of murdering the 14-year-old schoolgirl in Lucan, Co Dublin on May 14th last year.
The two 14-year-old boys were convicted of murdering Ana Kriegel following a seven week trial that ended with unanimous verdicts.
Boy A was also found guilty of aggravated sexual assault.
The trial heard Boy B lured Ana to her death by taking her to what was described as a “dark and dirty” derelict house where his friend was waiting.
Her body was found three days later.
The judge requested a number of reports to be carried out to assist him in constructing appropriate sentences.
He was told today that probation reports were the only ones available so it was decided to adjourn the full hearing until October 29th.
Both boys were in court for today’s update, and have been further remanded in custody.
