The jury will resume its deliberations in the trial of three former Anglo Irish Bank executives tomorrow morning. They have spent over 11 hours considering 42 charges.
Willie McAteer, Pat Whelan and Sean FitzPatrick deny illegally lending money to investors to buy shares in Anglo Irish Bank in July 2008.
The former Finance Director, head of lending in Ireland and the former Anglo Chairman are charged with breaching Section 60 of the Companies Act.
Judge Martin Nolan has told the jury it can only convict if it is satisfied the loans to the so-called Maple Ten and the family of Sean Quinn were not issued in the ordinary course of the bank's business.
The jurors also have to be satisfied that the accused men did nothing to stop the lending.
The jury will begin a fourth day of deliberations tomorrow.
