A woman from Fargo, North Daokota was so upset with her daughters behaviour that she did the one thing she knew her upset her daughter.

She sold her tickets to an upcoming Katy Perry concert on 23rd August.

On the Fargo/Moorhead Online Garage Sale Facebook page, Cindy Bjerke offered the tickets with the message "Daughter is a spoiled brat and doesn't deserve these tickets."

Ms Bjerke was so upset that she was willing to take $90 for the pair, which cost her $110.

She didn't name her daughter or mention what she had done to deserve such punishment, but still received a backlash of sorts over her actions.

"I think that's a personal issue where it should have been handled privately because on Facebook, everyone's going to see that," Elgie Eagleman told the WDAZ TV station.

But Mc Bjerke stands by her decision and also told the station: "I was not going to let her go to this concert with this behavior that she's been doing.”

There have been many 'shaming' incidents by parents lately, with some even putting a sign around their child's neck stating what the child is being punished for.
