Ireland is guaranteed another medal at the Tokyo Olympics after boxer Aidan Walsh secured at least a bronze.
The Belfast boxer will now fight Britain’s Pat McCormack in the men's welterweight semi-final on Sunday.
It brings Ireland's medal haul to one gold and at least two bronze.
Walsh beat Mauritian Merven Clair on a split 4-1 decision overnight to move forward to the next round.
Speaking after the fight, he said it felt incredible to follow in the shoes of Belfast boxers like Paddy Barnes and Michael Conlon who medals for Ireland in recent Olympics.
The semi-final will take place on Sunday at 4:03am Irish time.
