Up 100 people are protesting at Mount Lucas Wind Farm in Co. Offaly.

Representatives of anti-turbine and pylon groups are demonstrating at the launch of the €115m Bord na Mona development, which is made up of 28 turbines and employs 12 people.

Energy Minister Alex White opened the wind farm earlier, which is just one in a series of farms due to open in the next seven years.
