Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal crash in county Cork yesterday.

It happened when the 40-year-old's car struck a wall on the Adrigole Bridge between 2 and 3 o'clock yesterday morning.

Gardaí are calling on anyone who was travelling on the road up until noon yesterday to contact them.

Meanwhile, a man remains in a critical condition in hospital after a motorbike crash in Cork on Friday night.
