Irish Rail has launched an appeal to find the owner of a dog.
The black and brown pooch boarded the 8.46am train at Sallins, Co Kildare on Wednesday morning to Dublin's Heuston Station.
Named 'Hamish', Irish Rail staff have been caring for him at Heuston throughout the day.
Our #LostDog is sleeping soundly in #Heuston right now but we're still hoping to reunite him with his owner. Please RT #lostpets #lostandfoundpets https://t.co/W3vKD4HD7B pic.twitter.com/VWbg4VPfHD

He is currently being looked after at home by a staff member, but Irish Rail is still looking for his owner.
An identifying feature is also that Hamish has only one testicle.
However he is not microchipped.
