Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by a group of men in Cork.
The robbery happened on Pouladuff Road on Saturday shortly before 3.00am.
A man aged in his 20s was walking on Pouladuff Road when he was assault by a number of men.
They then stole the man's wallet and mobile phone and left the scene.
The man was brought to Cork University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and has since been discharged.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident - or anyone who was driving in the area between 2.30am and 3.15am and who has dash cam footage - to contact them.
Gardaí are particularly anxious to speak to a taxi driver who drove by the garage on Pouladuff Road and a man who was walking in the area.
