Gardaí are renewing their appeal for information on the tenth anniversary of the murder of 81-year-old Michael Crowe.
Mr Crowe died after a fire broke out at his home in Pairc Mhuire, Newbridge, County Kildare at around 6am on Sunday October 4th 2009.
Two of his family members who were in the house at the time escaped with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators previously confirmed that a loud bang was heard before the fire erupted.
Gardaí have been investigating the death as a murder and followed hundreds of lines of inquiry in the years since.
