Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after yesterday's shooting in Lucan in Dublin.
The injured man in his 40s is in a stable condition in hospital after he was shot in the body, head and arms in Lucan.
At around 1:50pm yesterday afternoon, the man was approached as he sat in his car at Griffeen Glen Park.
He was shot up to 10 times.
The suspects left the scene in a White VW Caddy van, which was later found burnt out nearby at Elm Way.
They're then believed to have transferred to an Opel Vectra.
That car was found in Liffey Valley Park in Lucan after being set on fire.
A third car - a Toyota Avensis - was then used, and it was later found on fire at Blind Lane in Fassaroe in Bray.
Nobody has yet been arrested in connection with the shooting.
Gardaí are now are appealing to anyone who may have noticed two men running from cars at any of the locations - Griffeen Glen Park, Elm Way, and Liffey Valley Park in Lucan, or Blind Lane, Fassaroe in Bray.
They are also interested in speaking to anyone who noticed any unusual activity in this area over the last five days, or any motorists who may have dashcam footage.
