A culture shift has meant that some venues in the UK have had to adapt to fewer young people drinking alcohol on a night out.
Drinkaware said 54% of 18 to 34-year-olds are likely to have more "low or no alcohol" drinks over the festive period compared to all adults.
Crazy golf company, Swingers, co-founder Matt Grech-Smith said he has seen a trend towards people wanting a more teetotal experience.
“I think social responsibility is very important to companies,” he said.
“They don't want to be getting people together for activities that are just based around alcohol.
“They want an activity [or] a hook to hang their event off."
Mr Grech-Smith said even if people “do have a few drinks in the process” of an organised activity, companies don’t want to feel as if the whole activity is just about drinking.
It is unknown why young people are consuming less alcohol - but some experts have presumed that it is due to Gen Z seeking a healthier lifestyle.
