An Army chaplain has said he forgives a teenage schoolboy who pleaded guilty to his attempted murder in County Galway.
Fr Paul Murphy was stabbed seven times as he sat in his car at Renmore Barracks last August.
The Central Criminal Court heard the accused boy had been exposed to radicalised content involving ISIS before the attack.

Fr Murphy told the 17-year-old he hoped he would see the errors of his way, and they shook hands and hugged in the dock.
The accused was remanded in detention and will be sentenced later this month.
