An Army chaplain has said he forgives a teenage schoolboy who pleaded guilty to his attempted murder in County Galway.

Fr Paul Murphy was stabbed seven times as he sat in his car at Renmore Barracks last August.

The Central Criminal Court heard the accused boy had been exposed to radicalised content involving ISIS before the attack.
