Around 500 ESB customers remain without power this morning, after Storm Rachel caused outages yesterday.
17,000 homes and businesses were knocked offline as high winds battered the western coasts in particular. Rural and exposed parts of the North West, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Kerry were among the worst affected areas.
Most faults have been fixed, however a small number remain unresolved this morning affecting about 500 customers.
Eircom crews are also working to restore service to its customers after around 10-thousand were without service yesterday.

Meanwhile, Dublin Airport says a normal flight schedule will operate today after 38 flights were cancelled yesterday due to high winds.
