style="text-align: left;">7 men have been arrested and a firearm and drugs seized during a major operation across the south eastern region this morning.

60 Gardai took part in the operation which targeted organised criminal groups, believed to be responsible for over 70 crimes committed across Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Wexford over the past twelve months.

The men are being detained at a number of Garda stations across the South East
