4 people have been arrested in relation to a cash-in-transit van robbery outside Jobstown Post Office in Dublin this afternoon.
One man was armed with what is believed to have been a firearm.
He threatened a male staff member and took an amount of cash at around midday.
No shots were fired and the staff member was not physically injured.
During follow-up searches a vehicle was recovered along with a firearm and large quantity of cash at a house at Cloonmore Green in Tallaght.
3 men and a woman have been arrested and are being detained at Tallaght and Rathfarnham Garda Station.
They are all aged in their mid-to-late 20s.
