The incident happened just before 1pm and an undisclosed sum of cash was stolen.

He then made his getaway in a red Skoda Octavia which was driven by another man and was later found burnt out by Gardaí in Templeogue.

This evening investigating officers arrested 2 men and 1 woman – all in their late 30s to early 40s.

The arrests were made in the Ballyfermot area.

They are being detained at Terenure and Rathmines Garda Stations under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
