Gardaí investigating the murder of Peter Murphy in County Cork four years ago have arrested two men.
The 37-year-old was found dead at his rented cottage at Shanavoher in Bweeng on February 7th 2015.
A post-mortem examination revealed that he had been assaulted.
Two men in their 20s were arrested this morning by Gardaí in Mallow.
Speaking at Mallow Garda Station, Superintendent William Duane said the investigation is continuing.
“We would like to thank the members of the community for their assistance to date but we are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward,” he said.

Gardaí investigating Mr Murphy’s death have already talked to hundreds of witnesses and viewed hundreds of hours of CCTV footage.
