Gardai in Waterford are appealing for information following an arson attack at a house in the Birchwood area of the City.

WLR FM reports that a petrol bomb was reportedly thrown at the house at Birch Avenue at approximately 7.40 last night, smashing two front windows.

A number of people in the house at the time, including a 12 week old baby, were unhurt.
